2) Location

Close to the Houses of Parliament and other famous London attractions, Queen Anne's gate is the largest of five terraced townhouses.

Awarded a Grade I status by English Heritage and designated a building of exceptional interest, Queen Anne's Gate dates back to 1680 although it was subsequently rebuilt during the reign of George III (1773).

As befits its heritage, Queen Anne's Gate was restored to its former grandeur under the guidance of Donald Insall Associates (who co-ordinated the restoration of Windsor Castle after it was devastated by fire in 1992).

Some of the original joinery and plasterwork has been restored to its original splendour and where necessary replaced with a modern yet sympathetic equivalent.

Queen Anne's Gate is spacious with beautifully presented rooms laid out across three floors. Every room has been tastefully decorated by the interior designer, Suzie Counsell - the result being a truly magnificent listed building.
